MIL-MGMT PR / CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Terms & conditions

Updated: 23 September 2026

Terms & conditionsPrivacy policy

These terms cover electronic music PR campaigns and mastering services purchased from MIL-MGMT PR.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

MIL-MGMT PR is the trading name of Matthew Sargeant, a sole trader. Our address is Connect House, 1 Henry Street, Northern Quarter, Manchester, M4 5DA, United Kingdom. Please contact us by email at [email protected] for order queries, cancellations, complaints and these terms.

2. Your campaign and our agreement

The product description and release option you choose set out the services included, the number of tracks or campaigns, the campaign duration and the price. A proposal agreed in writing (over email) may add details. Any special terms must be agreed in writing (over email) before purchase; they cannot remove a consumer’s statutory rights.

You must be at least 18 and authorised to order for the artist, label or business you represent. Please check the service, release format, quantity, price and billing details before paying. We accept your order when we send an order acceptance or payment-confirmation email identifying your purchase. A payment marked pending is not confirmation of acceptance.

If we cannot accept or fulfil an order, we will tell you and refund any payment for services we cannot provide. We will not substitute a materially different service or charge a different price without your agreement in writing (over email).

3. What PR services include

We provide the research, preparation, pitching, promotion, follow-up and reporting included in your chosen campaign, with reasonable care and skill. The selected package determines whether the work covers DJs, radio, press, playlists or a combination. Mastering is included only where expressly stated or purchased separately.

Coverage, radio play, DJ support, reviews, playlist additions and editorial decisions are controlled by independent third parties. We do not guarantee a placement, positive review, chart position, stream count, audience size, sales or commercial return. Examples of previous coverage illustrate past work and do not promise the same outcome for your release. This does not limit our responsibility to carry out the services we have agreed in writing (over email).

Campaign reports describe activity and results available to us. A pitch, download, response and confirmed piece of coverage are different outcomes. Third-party links, programmes and playlists may change after a report is delivered.

4. Submission, dates and cooperation

After payment, use the campaign submission link to provide your music, artwork, artist and release information, links, credits and requested dates. A requested start or release date is not reserved until we confirm it in writing (over email). Campaign timing depends on receiving suitable materials, approvals and any agreed payment. We try to fit to your timing needs, this will all be discussed first thing as we set up your campaign.

Tell us about embargoes, premiere exclusivity, territorial restrictions and changes to your release plans before work begins. We will agree a practical schedule with you in writing (over email). If missing or late materials affect that schedule, we will explain the effect and discuss revised dates. We will not silently shorten the agreed service.

Material changes to a release, additional tracks, new services or a substantial change of brief will be discussed and agreed in writing (over email). We do not add extra fees to your purchased service. Multi-campaign packs provide the number of campaigns stated at purchase, each scheduled separately. Any usage deadline must be disclosed before purchase.

5. Music, artwork and permissions

You retain your rights in the material you supply. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for us to use the recordings, compositions, samples, artwork, photographs, names and other material for the agreed work, and that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

You give us a non-exclusive permission to copy, store, process and share that material with the relevant team, service providers and promotional recipients as reasonably needed to deliver your campaign or mastering service. This includes private listening links, promotional downloads and press materials where appropriate to the package and agreed brief. It does not transfer ownership of your music to us.

We will respect embargoes and restrictions agreed in writing (over email). We cannot control every action of an independent recipient, but we will act reasonably on a reported breach. Public use of your campaign in our own case studies or promotional material will be agreed with you in writing (over email); purchasing a campaign alone is not permission to publish confidential or unreleased material.

6. Mastering

For mastering orders, the purchased quantity and any written brief determine the tracks and deliverables. Provide suitable source files and flag any technical requirements or references before work starts. Turnaround, output formats and included revisions will be those stated in the product description or agreed with you in writing (over email). Extra versions, replacement mixes or changes to the brief will be discussed and agreed in writing (over email).

Mastering is a professional service involving artistic judgement. It cannot guarantee a particular platform result or commercial success. Your rights if the work is not supplied with reasonable care and skill still apply. Matt is happy to work with you towards the desired result.

7. Prices, payments and discount codes

Prices and checkout totals are shown in pounds sterling unless expressly stated otherwise. VAT is not currently charged. The final total is shown before you authorise payment. We do not add extra fees or payment surcharges.

PayPal handles the available payment methods. Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Pay Later options depend on your location, device and the provider’s eligibility checks. Any credit or instalment agreement is with the payment provider and is governed by its terms; we do not approve finance or promise eligibility. Your bank or provider may apply its own currency-conversion charges.

A discount code applies according to the offer shown when you use it. Any expiry, eligible products, usage limits or combination restrictions will be disclosed. A valid discount is included in your confirmed total. A later change to an offer does not retrospectively change an accepted order.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Please email [email protected] with your order reference if you need to cancel. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Our consumer purchase information sets out the rights that apply to consumer orders and forms part of these terms.

When a refund is due, we will refund it within 14 days of being informed, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise in writing (over email), without a refund fee. We will explain any lawful deduction for work already supplied.

9. Other cancellations, changes and service problems

If something is wrong, email us with your order reference and the problem. We will investigate and seek a fair resolution. Lack of independent media coverage alone is not evidence that agreed PR work was not carried out.

10. Responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing removes a consumer’s statutory rights.

Our total liability arising from an affected order is limited to the amount paid or payable for that order. We are not responsible to business customers for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of anticipated profits, sales or business opportunities. These limitations apply only to the extent they are lawful and reasonable and do not reduce your statutory rights.

11. Privacy, complaints and applicable law

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. We use order and campaign communications to provide the service; buying does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.

Please contact us first with a complaint so we can try to resolve it. These terms are governed by English law. Business disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts available to them under applicable law, including where they live.

The version provided with your accepted order applies to that order. Later changes apply to later purchases unless we agree a lawful change with you in writing (over email).

To show our appreciation for the last 10 years of House, Techno and Electronic Music PR, use the one-time code “decade” for 10% off our campaigns.
