“I did my best to cover each release of this outstanding new label and the reason is not money, advertising or even free promos. I did it because I love this label and the artists it supports, I love the fresh sounds it promotes and I love the consistent quality of each and every release it puts out. The first two EPs of Federico Lange‘s imprint were dedicated entirely to a single artist: the debut was signed by Berlin deep groovy beats master Alex Agore, while the second featured LA’s finest newcomer Rhythm Operator. Starting with their third release, Axe On Wax introduced their VA series in an attempt to bring into spotlight fresh, upcoming and mostly under-appreciated artists from the worldwide underground scene. On ‘Spaghetti & Mandolino’ we had the pleasure of being introduced to Ciro De Gais, to discover a unique collaboration between E-Man, Dimkal and Speakdeep, to rediscover the work of Stefano Esposito and to delve deeper into the sounds of Kid Mark, the young founder and co-owner of Killax Recordings.”
